On March 7, 2023, Professors Joao Sedoc and Foster Provost conducted an interview with ChatDS, a data science chatbot, to showcase the capabilities and limitations of modern AI. The interview covered various topics such as standard data science interview questions, problem formulation queries, whiteboard mathematics, live coding, and data visualization. This interview provides insight into what chatbots can and cannot do currently, and offers a glimpse into the future of AI in the workplace.
